Q1: Can this protective case be submerged in water for a long time?
A: It has an IP67 protection rating. It will not take in water during brief splashes or short-time shallow water immersion, making it suitable for outdoor shooting on rainy days and damp makeup rooms. Continuous long-term deep water submersion is not supported.
Q2: Can small padlocks be fitted on the latches?
A: Standard lock holes are pre-reserved on the latches, allowing you to fit small padlocks as you like for safer anti-theft storage in stores and logistics delivery.
Q3: Can the pressure relief valve be removed and left unused?
A: Removal is not recommended. The pressure relief valve balances air pressure inside and outside the case, preventing the lid from being stuck tight by negative pressure during air transportation or in high-altitude areas. It is fully pre-assembled at the factory.
Q4: Can the foam inner liner be replaced separately when it wears out later?
A: Empty cases and inner liners are sold separately. A replacement foam liner can be sent separately once it ages or wears out, so you do not need to replace the entire case.
Q5: Will the case harden and turn brittle when used outdoors in northern winters?
A: The case is made of cold-resistant modified PP material that retains its toughness at temperatures as low as -30°C. It can be normally used outdoors in winter and will not crack under minor impacts.
Q6: Can multiple cases of the same specification be stacked for storage?
A: The flat top surface of the case is equipped with positioning ribs, enabling stable multi-layer stacking of identical cases to save storage space in beauty warehouses and garage racks.
Q7: Will cosmetics and precision instruments shift around if placed directly in the empty case?
A: Empty cases are only suitable for loose scattered accessories and cannot secure tools or instruments. Custom milled EVA foam is recommended, with grooves cut to match the shapes of your items to completely eliminate shifting, scratches from friction, and deformation from bumps.
