Main material of the cabinet body: High-toughness modified PP engineering plastic, added with impact-resistant, cold-resistant and anti-aging additives. It features excellent toughness and resistance to cracking, and can withstand mild acid and alkali corrosion.

Sealing rubber ring: Made of highly elastic natural rubber, it maintains lasting resilience without hardening, and will not crack or fail after years of service to consistently guarantee sealing performance.

Metal connecting parts: Metal fittings including hinges and lock holes are electroplated for rust prevention, so they are not prone to rust or jamming in seaside and high-humidity working environments.

Forming process: Integral high-pressure injection molding without splicing gaps. The cabinet boasts strong structural integrity with no risk of water seepage or cracking at splicing joints.

FAQ

Q1: Can this case be submerged in water for a long time?

A: This product has an IP67 protection rating. It will not let water in when exposed to splashes for a short time or shallow immersion, making it suitable for outdoor use on rainy days. However, it cannot withstand prolonged continuous deep-water submersion.

Q2: Can a padlock be fitted onto the latch?

A: The latch is pre-drilled with a standard lock hole. You may install a small padlock on it as needed, offering better anti-theft security for outdoor storage and logistics delivery.

Q3: Can the pressure relief valve be removed and left unused?

A: Removal is not recommended. The pressure relief valve balances the air pressure inside and outside the case. It prevents negative pressure from suction-locking the lid shut during air transportation or high-altitude use, and comes fully installed from the factory.

Q4: Can the foam insert be replaced separately after wear and tear over time?

A: Empty cases and inserts are sold separately. A replacement foam insert can be shipped individually once the original one ages or wears out, with no need to replace the entire case.

Q5: Will the case harden and become brittle under low temperatures in northern winters?

A: The case is made of cold-resistant modified PP material. It maintains toughness even at temperatures as low as -30°C, and can function normally for outdoor winter operations without cracking upon impact.

Q6: Will instruments shift and rattle around when placed inside an empty case?

A: An empty case only holds loose accessories and cannot secure equipment. We recommend pairing it with custom milled EVA foam, which features cutouts shaped to match your instruments to eliminate shifting and abrasive scratches entirely.
